I’d like to tell you about the car race Formula I I've recently seen on TV. This competition attracts thousands of fans all over the world every year. Each race takes place in a different country. There are twelve teams that compete in the race this year. Some teams represent car corporations (Ferrari, Mercedes and others)
The latest competition was in Canada. It started as usual with the qualification race. The idea of the qualification is that the car which has the best time for one lap has the best position at the start of the race. The car which gets to the finish first is the winner. The standard route distance is about 300 kilometres. There are two cars in each team. The racers of each team wear a special uniform which is of exclusive design.
Maximum speed that the cars can develop is 360 km/hour. At the beginning of the race in Canada everyone was excited because Michael Schumacher, who has won the Cup of the World Champion for seven years, took part in the competition. As usual, Michael Schumacher won the first position!
My friends and I were pleased with the results of the competition. We are looking forward to the next competition which will take place in Valencia, Spain in a week.
